This piece was inspired by the work developed by Manuel Vazquez, one of the first persons to introduce collaborative murals in Oliver as a way to raise awareness for the social problems of the neighbourhood. The phrase was found in one of the social and community murals that were painted in the 90s by the Oliver neighbourhood residents along with Manuel Vazquez.
The geometric shapes were inspired by the patterns found in the domes of the Cathedral-Basilica of Our Lady of the Pillar in Zaragoza.
